Why does the editor load as a blank/black window in Cubase?

Modified on Wed, 5 Jul, 2023 at 10:19 AM

This is a known issue which may happen only in OSX, using VST2.

If you load a VST or VSTi in Cubase and have the plugin loaded as a blank/black window, either install and use VST3, or turn “Open in 32bit mode” off for Cubase by right clicking the Cubase app in Applications and choosing “Get Info”.

The plugin should then load and show up normally.
