How do I latch the gate on a Minitaur or Sirin?

If you’re looking to have the Minitaur or Siren drone, or if you want to process external audio through the EXT input, latching the GATE is really useful.  This allows you to avoid having to strike a key with a MIDI controller or send a GATE from another source. 

GATE ALWAYS ON: Press and hold GLIDE, turn AMP EG SUSTAIN knob TO ZERO, THEN TO MAXIMUM. 

To deactivate, do the same but turn AMP EG SUSTAIN knob back to ZERO.

You can also apply +5V to the GATE jack. This will leave the Gate open, and the Amplifier Envelope will remain at its Sustain level until the Gate closes.
