How do I change the MIDI CH on Subharmonicon?

Modified on Thu, 29 Jun, 2023 at 3:09 PM

By default, Subharmonicon is set to CH 1.  You can change this by sending the instrument a SysEx file, which you can find here

Sending SysEx to SUBHARMONICON

  1. Connect a MIDI cable from your MIDI interface (or MIDI-capable audio interface) to SUBHARMONICON.

  2. Open your SysEx handling software.

NOTE: We recommend SysEx Transfer Utility for Windows and SysEx Librarian for Mac. There is a useful guide for using SysEx Librarian available here.

  3. In the software, select your MIDI interface as your MIDI output device.

  4. Load the appropriate file into your SysEx handler (e.g. "subharmonicon_midi_ch2.syx") and click Send/Play. You will see the MIDI light on SUBHARMONICON's front panel blink quickly, indicating that the file was received successfully.

For further reading on SysEx, more resources are available here. If you have any further questions, we are happy to help.
