Moog MF-108M & MF-105M | Why do the knobs behave differently after pluggin a cable into a CV input?

The MF-108 and MF-105 standardize the CV to a midpoint of 2.5V when not in active use. This enables external CVs to adjust the CV value in both positive and negative directions from the knobs, unlike other Moogerfoogers where the CV solely adds to the knob position.

This setup enhances flexibility as the CVs are bi-polar in nature.

This implies that when the knob is at the midpoint, a 0-5V CV provides a complete sweep range, and similarly, when the CV is centered, the knob achieves a full sweep range.
