Why does my Minitaur play the same note for every note higher than C5?

Modified on Wed, 5 Jul, 2023 at 10:19 AM

When sending midi notes higher than C5, Minitaur can reacts in two different ways:

  1. It may respond with playing the note C5 for each midi message sent with a note that is C5 or higher

  2. It may wrap the notes so they are played on the C4-C5 octave instead

The default mode is #2, but it can be changed in the following way:

  • Hold Glide and turn Glide Rate to minimum position, in order to set mode to #1

  • Hold Glide and turn Glide Rate to maximum position, in order to set mode to #2

This feature is added on firmware v2.2
