Claravox Centennial provides two distinct performance modes (selectable via a front panel switch) for a lush variety of sonic possibilities.
- In Traditional mode, Claravox presents a classic 100% analog theremin experience: analog heterodyning Oscillator --> Analog Waveshaper --> BBD Analog Delay.
- In Modern Mode, Claravox Centennial reveals a digital engine equipped with 2 advanced signal generators (oscillator model and wavetable type) and a DSP multi-mode filter while still utilising the Analog Waveshaper and BBD Analog Delay. Modern modes also opens up powerful performance parameters not available in Traditional mode: Antenna Response controls (for creating your own response curves), as well as Quantization, Key, Scale, and Octave parameters.
